Energy

As the human population increases, so does the demand for energy. In 2012, 89.1 million barrels of oil were consumed globally and this amount is expected to reach 91.5 in 2014 (U.S. Energy Information Administration, 2013). Even though more energy is produced every year, 1.4 billion people will still not have access to electricity by 2030 (UN Energy, 2013).
